Tillie Anderson

Carrie Miller, a journalist from Gainesville, Florida, is embarking on a project to chronicle women's racing and it's "undisputed champion" Tillie Anderson, the "Terrible Swede" of Chicago. The project involves a book and full-length documentary film.

Ms. Miller is calling all experts and self-styled experts on the topics of women's turn-of-the-century racing and the impact it had on attitudes about women and their clothing styles and feelings of independence. She wishes to film several interviews for use in the documentary during the 2004 Baldwin meet -- primarily on Thursday and some on Friday.

Please e-mail her if you have an interest or expertise in women's racing and its effects, at miller32606@yahoo.com.
